With the help of the Tumble Book Team, we have imported over 30 Tumble Books to the iPhone platform as movie format. We have also added "read by yourself" feature to each book, that allows to read a Tumble book page by page as well watch it as a movie.  Below are some screen captures of how these books look like

 Propredictor is an iphone app that delivers weekly NFL stats for each NFL team to the iPhone users during the NFL football season.

This project had 2 components:

1. an iphone apps which is being sold on the iphone app store
2. a web service developed using the Joomla! and Nooku Framework where all the data is entered and then the results are received by the iphone app via xml feeds.

Using the Propredictor iphone App You can compare teams by their PowerRating and identify teams on the way up and teams on the way down – teams likely to make the playoffs and teams likely to miss the playoffs. The PowerRating is based on real data – not opinion. Their unique and proprietary algorithm includes a defensive bias based upon the stats of the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears, still recognized as the best defensive team in the National Football League. The received results by the iPhone app can sorted by PowerRating and Won/Lost Percentage by Teams, Conference and Division. Plus you can touch any team to see its win loss record to date. You will also have access to all the breaking news on your favorite teams and players with just a tap on the screen.

In short, the Coronary Heart Decease Risk calculator estimate a patient's chance of developing a heart decease within the next 10 years. It calculates a patient total points according to its Age, Gender, Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Blood Pressure and other factors and then it compares it to the data colleted in NHLBI's Framingham Heart Study and outputs the results. The application is so simple to use that both Doctors and patients could download it and benefit from it.

Live animated graphs represting the patient's risk, average-risk and low-risk populations are drawn simultaneously as the parameters are changed using the sliding knobs on the screen.

Porthog is an enterprise web-based network administration tool for managing large numbers of network devices. This tool is used in organizations such as the movie production companies and large corporate intranets. Traditionally network devices come with dull and user unfriendly web based user interfaces ( if you have been setting up your wireless router through your browser you know we are talking about ). In this project we have developed an AJAX powered and user friendly web-base editor and Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the system administrators who will be configuring a large number of devices on an enterprise network. For the more technical minds, the Porthog client actually compiles more complex commands within the browser and then submits and saves them on the server. Porthog also renders network performance graphs for the system administrators.

This project started in May 2007 and it has become the main focus of our business, research, and development ever since. With the advent of modern Social Networking websites such as facebook, twitter, or flickr, there was need for a versatile platform which would enable businesses and organization to exploit the utility aspects of social and collaborative tools for their everyday operation.

eBlast is a custom event and campaign management system developed for the St. John Group which is a company located in Toronto, Ontario specialized in organizing and managing trade show booths for some of the Fortune 500 communication companies.

eBlast has been used in the following trade-shows:

• CTIA Wireless 2009 in Las Vegas
• Mexico ExpoComm 2009
• CES 2008 in Las Vegas
• CTIA Wireless 2008 at San Francisco

Some of the unique characteristics of the eBlast system could be summarized as following:

Online Registration

eBlast is used for managing and organizing multiple events in the same time. First Administrators send out invitations to their list of contacts, then recipients visit an online registration form on the web, sign up, and RSVP for an event.

In the mean time Administrators and Event Organizers can follow up with the attendees and send them custom campaign messages before, during, and after every trade-show.

Live connectivity to a network of RFID readers

At a trade-show, eBlast receives its input from a network of LCD displays equipped with RFID readers. Each RFID reader station represents a Partner Company or Campaign Item. Each screen displays a short presentation about the Partner Company. Visitors use their trade-show badges to scan and view presentations on the screens. The eBlast system keeps track of all the visited partner stations per attendee and assembles custom campaign messages that contain additional resources provided by the partner companies. Attendees receive their email campaigns by the end of the day.

Reporting Features

eBlast generates LIVE reports on the:

• number of campaigns send out
• number of opened campaigns
• number of visits to the partner's websites generated by the campaign
• Comparative charts on which partner has received the most number of visitors

These reports are displayed as animated graphs as visitors open their email campaigns.

Translated and Localized User Interfaces

eBlast provides translated registration forms and event management user interfaces based on the location of each event. This feature was first used for the trade-show events at the Latin American countries where user interfaces had to be available in Portuguese, Spanish as well as English.

At the first glance, this application may seem like a generic RSS feed reader for iPhone, however what makes this application special is the fact that it can be branded for one or multiple news-feed sources specific to a market niche. For example a collection of news feeds about politics, entertainment, or sports.

RubberDoc is a lightweight document manager extension for the Joomla! 1.5 CMS. With this extension, the site administrator can

• Upload many documents (PDF, Excel, Doc) at once and organize them later.
• Group the files into different categories
• Embed the files in any article
• Generate RSS feeds for the files

This project has been inspired by our client, Social Planning & Research Council of British Columbia (SPARC BC) , who will be using this extension on their soon to be launched website which is also developed by rmd Studio and it's associates.
